Application

This course covers the initial and refresher training on an individual's knowledge and skills in the safe performance or rescue procedures from a tower structure in the workplace. It specifies the requirements of rescue from a transmission powerline tower structure and how they apply in a transmission work environment. It encompasses responsibilities for health, safety and risk management processes, and adherence to safety practices as part of the normal way of doing work.

HLTCPR201B - Perform CPR

Participant Prerequisites

Initial - Working Safely at Heights

Refresher - Currency in Performing Tower Rescue, and Working Safely at Heights

Qualification Delivery Methods

  • Classroom presentations, group discussions, and exercises
  • Assessments - knowledge and practical

Course Duration

Initial - 8 hours

Refresher - 2 hours

Group Size

Minimum 2 participants, maximum 6 participants

Certification

Upon successful completion of an initial course each participant will be eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment

Powerline Training will recognise qualifications or Statements of Attainment issued by another RTO for the purposes of:

RPL - (Recognition of prior learning)
