Qualification Overview

Those gaining this qualification will be able to acquire the skills and knowledge required for a career in the transmission powerline industry, which includes the installation, inspection, repair and maintenance of high voltage overhead transmission powerlines.

Qualification Prerequisites

Current employment/apprenticeship with an ESI asset owner or service provider.

• Off the job training
• On the job training

Qualification Duration

• 4 year apprenticeship

Certification

Upon successful completion of this qualification students will be eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion.

National Recognition

Powerline Training will recognise qualifications or Statements of Attainment issued by another RTO for the purposes of:

RPL – (Recognition of prior learning)

CT – (Credit transfer)
