Safe Approach to SWER
Module Purpose
This module provides the learner with the knowledge and skills to implement a “Safe to Approach” inspection and test procedure to high voltage electrical apparatus
This module can be used for both refresher training and initial training
Target group
All workers who perform work in the vicinity of Single Wire Earth Return (SWER) electrical apparatus
Course duration
- Initial – 4 hours
- Refresher – 2 hours
- Frequency- Three yearly

Certification
Upon successful completion of this course participants will be eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion
National Recognition
Powerline Training will recognise qualifications or Statements of Attainment issued by another RTO for the purposes of:
RPL – (Recognition of prior learning)
CT – (Credit transfer)
