HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

COURSE OVERVIEW

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.

This unit applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

Become CPR workplace ready should the need arise
Achieve certification in a nationally recognised course

DURATION

  • Initial – 6 hours
  • Refresher – 3 hours

  • Maximum 6 participants

PREREQUISITE

  • Nil

CERTIFICATION

Upon successful completion of an initial course participants will be eligible to receive a Statement of Attainment.
